Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Bake the French fries according to package instructions until golden and crispy.
2. While the fries are baking, heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
3. Add the sliced onions and bell peppers. Cook for 4–5 minutes until soft and slightly caramelized.
4. Add the sliced steak to the skillet. Season with taco seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Cook for 5–7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the meat is browned and tender.
5. Once the fries are ready, spread them evenly on a large oven-safe platter or baking dish.
6. Layer the cooked steak, peppers, and onions over the fries.
7. Sprinkle shredded cheese evenly over the top and drizzle with nacho cheese sauce if desired.
8. Return to the oven for 5–7 minutes, just until the cheese is fully melted and bubbly.
9. Remove from the oven and garnish with chopped green onions and cilantro.
10. Serve hot with your favorite toppings like sour cream, salsa, or guacamole for the perfect loaded bite!
