Banana Cream Pie

Ingredients:
For the Crust
1 and 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
1/4 cup sugar
1/3 cup melted butter
For the Filling
2 ripe bananas, mashed
1 package (3.4 oz) instant vanilla pudding mix
1 and 1/2 cups cold milk
1 cup heavy cream, whipped
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
For Topping
Whipped cream
Banana slices
Crushed cookie crumbs (optional)

Instructions:
Prepare the Crust: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Combine graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter in a bowl. Press into a pie dish and bake for 10 minutes. Let it cool completely.
Make the Filling: In a bowl, whisk together the instant vanilla pudding mix and cold milk. Let it thicken for about 5 minutes.
Mix in Bananas: Stir in the mashed bananas and vanilla extract. Gently fold in the whipped cream.
Assemble the Pie: Pour the banana filling into the cooled crust and smooth the top.
Chill: Refrigerate the pie for at least 4 hours to set.
Serve: Before serving, top with whipped cream and fresh banana slices. Optionally, sprinkle with crushed cookie crumbs.
